Challenge
The primary goal in Version 2.0 was figuring out the complexity of the video production lifecycle, which involved three distinct user personas: the Administrator managing the campaign, the Storyteller responsible for recording authentic content, and the End User receiving the message. My task was to map these use cases into a cohesive ecosystem. I had to design different journeys that allowed admins to assign tasks while ensuring storytellers had a simplified mobile experience to record and upload videos.
Process
Understand
With remote stakeholder sessions, we aligned on the most relevant business goals for the MVP. I then conduct a features benchmark to find opportunities while addressing industry gaps.
Define
We mapped the user journeys to ensure the flow is logical for every actor. This stage is about building a cohesive foundation that supports both the product’s core functionality and its future growth.
Prototype
Co-design sessions helped us explore multiple ideas quickly. These insights then evolve into high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, allowing us to refine the design before any code is written.
Hand-Off
To ensure a smooth build, we hold regular dev meetings to deliver the components library. This step helped the engineering team implement the design with technical consistency.
